Activities and mountain experiences all year around!

The proximity to breathtaking nature together with the offered facilities, turn Vålådalen into an extraordinary activity center. In the summer, hikers, bikers, and runners meet with paddlers, roller skiers, and active families. During winter we offer world top class ski tracks. There are miles of possibilities for the cross country skier to explore the mountains. Experienced as well as curious mountaineers are welcome. 

Vålådalens Fjällstation wishes to be an extensive activity center with a wide range of activities and experiences for all ages. Families with children, or individual travelers as well as groups – here is place for everyone. Very few Swedish mountain facility centers can offer such a greatly varied range of activities throughout the year as Vålådalen.

Winter Activities       Summer Activities

Our Sports department
Directly connected to our reception you find a rental shop with boutique and service. Here you can get almost everything you need for your mountain adventure. You can rent different ski equipment (cross country, touring, randonné and alpine), as well as children sledges or sledges for bags / equipment for your mountain excursion. During summer we change our offer to modern mountain bikes, backpacks, walking- and running shoes. We also have a large sports hall, which makes it possible to discover different indoor activities on days with difficult weather conditions.
